The
tourist attractions to be found within
a short drive of Trémolat are many
and various. They range from the many
prehistoric features of the Vézère
valley, including world famous Lascaux
caves, to medieval villages and castles,
as well as renaissance châteaux and
gardens.
Throughout
the year, there are in the area regular
markets, village fêtes, antiques and
bric-a-brac fairs and concerts, the
majority being in the summer months.The
night markets where tables and chairs
are set out in the village squares
surrounded by stalls selling food
and drink are great fun and very popular.It
is usual, although not necessary,
to take your own cutlery and crockery
and then eat outside to the accompaniment
of music
