Leisure Activities

The area is well known for its walks and there are many to be enjoyed around the village and in the surrounding area. In the summer months there are weekly organised walks if you are feeling social!There is a large selection of walks available in the apartment and binoculars can be supplied if wanted.

There are several golf courses in the area, the nearest being Lolivarie, near Siorac and Chateau Les Merles, which is near Lalinde.

Canoes are freely available for hire on the Dordogne and Vézère. Transport to the starting point is provided and then you canoe back to the hiring point. There is a guideline on how long is should take, but no time limit so you can stop off as you please for a rest and a drink.Also the fishing on the Dordogne is good for a wide range of fish. Licences can be purchased locally ( passport size photo required )

If you fancy pony treking there are several equestrian centres which provide horses, equipment and instruction. The nearest of these is at Alles, which is situated just across the Dordogne from Trémolat.

If you prefer something a little more mechanical mountain bikes are available for hire at the MiniGolf.

For the more traditional, boules can be played on two pistes in the village. One is directly opposite the gîte.There are four sets of boules available included in the rental of the apartment Tennis courts are also avaliable for hire at the campsite.
